How to...

How to...
Enhance a photo by crossing it with another photo with a better color palette. You’ll get pleasantly interesting results. Open a photo with an interesting color palette, like a great work of art. Then open up your photo you wish to edit. Select Image >> Adjustments >> Match Color, and then select the photo of the famous art as the source. You can play with Luminance and Color Intensity if you want. Hit OK and there you go.

Photography II Sketchbook Prompts

These are to be used as prompts and “jumping off” places for your digital sketchbooks. Show evidence of critical and intelligent thinking (as opposed to the “Oh c---! I forgot I have a sketchbook due today!”). I would like to have you include deconstruction and/or techniques of interest…

1. What if you suddenly became very, very small?

2. What would you see if you grew wings and flew over our town?

3. Corner of a room in your house

4. Creative views of your car, bicycle, skateboard, etc.

5. Your eye and the area around it.

6. A piece of furniture in your house.

7. A few kernels of popcorn - fill the page with them.

7. A series of horses in motion…use artists as inspiration (Deborah Butterfield, Degas…)

8. Interior: Non-traditional, no buildings....more like the inside of a purse
9. Extreme light source
10. Shoes as a portrait
11. Refuge
12. Extreme perspective
13. Organic
14. All that and a bag of chips
15. Reflective Identity
16. One of these things are not like the other one
17. Hanging or suspended
18. Free Space
19. Yesterday
